Hello Everyone!

If you did not know, Daily Vroom has many of their materials available through Dropbox. To locate the Vroom Dropbox folder, visit their website joinvroom.org and scroll to the bottom of "Tools and Activities". There you will find a hyperlink to the Dropbox folder. This does not take the place of materials you receive from us (App Cards, Posters, etc. in high-quality), but it can provide you with printable tips for activities, scientific resources, and videos!

Head Start Parent Nights

Thank you so much Neighborimpact Head Start for making December parent nights Vroom themed! It was such a fun and interactive way for parents to see Vroom in action. It becomes so much more than an app when tips turn into a reality.

Data Collection for Quarter Two

The pilot project is heading into it's second half, and we need your help reflecting all that we have accomplished thus far! If you could please fill out the data reporting form, and send it to either Kim or I, we would greatly appreciate it! Vroom is truly gaining momentum, and we want all of you to be included in the movement! 

Vroom Winter Activities

Don't let the cold weather keep you from brain building! Vroom has great activities for both indoors and out, even if it's snowy.

It is never too early to start conversations about being thankful. If you are spending this Thanksgiving with anyone five or under, I encourage you to try this tip out, and not just at bedtime, but at the dinner table too! 

Shout-out to Neighborimpact Head Start

We are starting to get some data for Quarter Two of the pilot project, and we are so thankful for all of our messengers hard work. This shout-out goes to Neighborimpact Head Start for sharing Vroom with every family they serve! They were able to get Vroom messaging into the hands of 451 families!! Keep up the great work, and thank you for having us out today :)

Vroom Reaching Higher

As a regional effort, we have placed 737 Vroom materials into the hands of our partners and their families! Way to go Central Oregon Pilot Participants! We cannot thank you enough for all your hard work and support as we share Vroom with parents.

Site Visits

Thank you MountainStar for having us out to your all staff meeting! We loved sharing Vroom with all of you, even if our technology didn't want to cooperate. Also, a thank you to Early Intervention-Early Childhood Special Education (EI-ECSE) for having us out to Madras. We look forward to visiting your other sites soon!

Taste of WIC

Thank you so much WIC for having us out to your Taste of WIC event on October 12th! We were able to share Vroom with close to 20 parents and guardians! Everyone there had a great time, and it was truly a fabulous event! We look forward to our next Taste of WIC on October 27th!

Looking for Events

Vroom Parent Highlight

We had such a great time at Festival of Cultures September 26th. It was so nice to meet Kelley, a mom who LOVES Vroom, and her daughter Emilia. Kelley has been hooked on the app ever since Healthy Families of the High Desert introduced it to her! Thank you to both Kelley and Healthy Families of the High Desert for promoting and using Vroom! And, doesn't Emilia look darling in her Vroom T-shirt!

Welcome to the Central Oregon Vroom Blog, the place where you will be able to find all things Vroom in the area! We are so excited to roll-out Vroom, and are extremely grateful to have the support of you, our trusted messengers. This blog is intended as a means of communication that supports, encourages, and helps simplify information specifically for you. I hope you will use this as a resource for questions, updates, and events, but also as a place to find inspiration through celebrating all of your accomplishments, stories, and FUN! We all believe every parent and caregiver has what it takes to be a brain builder, and now it's time to take that message and start a movement! Tip Cards are a great example of what the app will offer parents and caregivers. They are intended to entice parents and caregivers into downloading the app, or for those who do not have a smartphone/tablet.

The App Cards are bright and provide simple information on how the app works. They are easy to pass out and are small enough to take many different places.
