FAQ

Q: How can I get the app in Spanish?

A: To get the Daily Vroom app in Spanish, you need to change your phone settings so Spanish is listed as the preferred language. Once your phone's setting has changed, the app should appear in that language. * This tip was provided by an app user, not the Vroom FAQ's page.

Q: How much data does the Vroom app use?

A: Overall, the Daily Vroom app uses very little data because it is only pulling tips (just text) from the Vroom server. Like any app, the amount of data usage will depend on how an individual user utilizes the app and how frequently.

If users are concerned about data usage, they can: A) use Daily Vroom while on a WiFi connection or B) monitor their usage in their app settings. On both iOS and Android devices, there are ways to turn off data usage for Daily Vroom to avoid too much data while not on WiFi (it will work again when brought back to a WiFi network).

To monitor data usage on an iOS device:
1. open settings
2. tap “cellular”
3. Scroll down to view how much data individual apps are using

To monitor data usage on an Android device:
1. open settings
2. tap “data usage”
3. Scroll down to view how much data individual apps are using

Q: I forgot my password, what now?

A: On the sign in screen, tap 'Forgot Password?' Vroom will send you an email with a link to reset it right away.

Q: Can I get reminders for my Daily Vroom?

A: Yes! There is an alert that you will receive to let you know your Daily Vroom is ready. Feel free to turn this on/off or even adjust the time you receive it by heading to the settings tray and tapping 'App Settings.' This allows you to receive the app at a time that is good for your schedule.

Q: Is this actually helping my child's brain develop?

A: Yes. These activities help spark connections in their brains that they need for development and future learning. Check out the Brainy Background on each Vroom to see what skills are being developed!

Q: What is the Brainy Background?

A: The Brainy Background provides some scientific background on why and how that Vroom is good to practice with your child. Things like repetition, counting, and so on all help your child's mind grow.
